Don't worry If you must postpone the flash and wait till you get better then go right ahead. I've done the same thing and used that time to practice graphical effects and study other sprite flash movies to get better and it made a big difference for me you should take some time off to improve your skill if you think you should. But I don't think you should give up that easily from the looks of it you got a fan base here and it will do you a big favor to just postpone it unless you have something even better in mind...
that's why... i got something better in mind... the QUIZZES!!!!!!!!
